Honestly, I think the worst part about setting this up is that 95% of the documentation thinks I must be wanting to run a business, and they don’t just focus on that, they insist! They give you forms that require you to tell them about your “business”, instructions with steps and goals that are clearly on a scale I have no ambitions towards.
And I guess that’s our world, right? It’s all monetized and capitalized, pumped up and fluffed up and full of sparkle and pizazz even if it’s not actually right. it’s all about running a business, and figuring out how to drive up “membership”. What if…I’m just me? Just one person, building something for just me and a few friends. What if I don’t want this to be big and grand and pay me actual money, I just want human connection, a tiny bit of independent thought in our disintegrating world, a few minutes with my friends??
Right. This is harder than it should be. I’ll get the newsletter thing figured out at some point. Probably.
