Today, my loan guy tried to put through the WHEDA home improvement loan I’ve been working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That loan should cover a new front door (and frame), back door, fixing the upstairs ceiling, fixing the upstairs floor, fixing the shower pan that doesn’t drain right, and while he’s at it, he’ll probably fix up the caulk job that isn’t too pretty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
What it won’t<\/em> do: the kitchen floor, the upstairs wall to enclose the second bedroom, the upstairs final-floor, misc other projects…<\/p>\n\n\n\n But today I learned that they won’t let you put them through from just anywhere. you have to be in one of their select counties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So I put in all the work with the loan guy and he can’t do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Went back and looked at the list to find a lender who can actually do it..there’s one, called “Covantage Credit Union” that allows the whole state, but focuses on northern wisconsin, UP michigan, etc. guess who just had a huge snowstorm?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n …so i get to call them tomorrow, and start all over from scratch. with new credit union. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Today, my loan guy tried to put through the WHEDA home improvement loan I’ve been working on.
