A gorgeous fiddle tune from the 1980s that sounds like it&#8217;s <em>much<\/em> older.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-light-gray-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Ashokan Farewell<\/strong>&#8221;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Help:IPA\/English\">\/\u0259\u02c8\u0283o\u028a\u02cck\u00e6n\/<\/a>&nbsp;is a musical piece composed by the American&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Folk_music\">folk musician<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jay_Ungar\">Jay Ungar<\/a>&nbsp;in 1982.
